Tree-Mendous is pleased to announce our latest construction, Ramblewild, Feronia Forest’s first aerial adventure park, located in Lanesborough, Massachusetts. Nestled along the prominent long ridgeline of the Berkshire  Mountains in western Massachusetts, . Ramblewild is currently under construction in the magic tree canopy of Brodie Mountain.

Ramblewild is proving to be one of our largest and most exciting builds to date, complete with a canopy network of aerial obstacles, zip lines and future tree forts. Separating itself from other outdoor adventure parks in many ways, Ramblewild’s construction features an untouched forest environment with extensive educational aspects about the natural history of the northeast. Participants will be immersed in the trees like in no other location.

Spearheaded by Paolo Cugnasca, Feronia Forests is a forest property acquisition and management company, devoted to the cultivation and preservation of healthy, resilient forests. We are enthused to not only work with a fellow Certified B Corporation, but moreover, experienced foresters and ecosystem specialists with innovative approaches to forestland regeneration. From FeroniaForests.com:

As environmental stewards, we choose to minimize the amount of timber we harvest to a level that is good for the long-term health of the forest. To offset the cost of saving trees in this area and still thrive as a business, we creatively develop sustainable, revenue-generating offerings within and from the forests. The goal is to provide the greatest long-term value of each forest to its local communities, the environment and its investors.

Ramblewild’s Adventure Park, like all Tree-Mendous builds, will feature a unique clamp and gravity lock system, specifically designed to prevent harm to the trees. The park build will avoid all nails or hardware in the trees, and a protective layer of cushioning will provide a barrier between the cable and tree. The park will feature the latest innovations in adventure park safety from both Edelrid and Pfeifer. Our products meet or exceed the highest safety standards with easy handling for the visitor and less risk for the operator.

Construction is scheduled to continue through December 2013. We look forward to the grand opening, when residents and visitors of Berkshire County can enjoy breathtaking aerial adventures in the trees at Ramblewild.

I am sure our Guests and we will LOVE it!

  2. My husband and I took 3 teenagers, and all of us loved it. No matter your skill level, all were challenged. It was nice to do something other than a zip line.
